Single-line diagram (SLD) is a simplified notation for representing a power system. It is a form of block diagram graphically depicting the paths for power flow between entities of the system. It is the first step in designing your solar project, allowing you to become thoroughly familiar with the electrical system layout and design in your facility.

Cable sizing:

The proper sizing of an electrical cable is important to ensure that the cable can:

Earthing

An earthing system or grounding system is circuitry which connects parts of the electric circuit with the ground, thus creating an alternative path for the flow of fault/excessive currents safely into the ground in the presence of minimal resistance or impedance. The primary purpose of earthing is to reduce the risk of serious electric shock from current leaking intouninsulated metal parts of an appliance, power tool, or other electrical devices.

Combiner/Junction Box

Combiner Boxes can be AC or DC or both depending on the project requirement.

DC Combiner Box:

DC combiner box is a device that combines the output of multiple strings of PV modules for connection to the inverter.

AC Combiner Box:

DC combiner box is a device that combines the output of multiple strings of PV modules for connection to the inverter.

AC combiner box is a device that combines the output of multiple Inverters and gives the single output.
